JERA is committed to reaching net-zero emissions in Japan by 2050. Our strategy focuses on increasing reliability and reducing carbon intensity by:
- Expanding renewable energy
- Strengthening the LNG supply chain to lower systemwide carbon intensity during the shift to renewables
- Utilizing hydrogen and ammonia
